Expert Tips

Keep refrigerated dough in the fridge until you’re ready to use it; cold dough is much easier to work with. Have all the other ingredients ready to use.

I used the filling for the middle of the crescent rolls. It was MUCH easier and less messier than the tartlets.

I've made something very similar to this recipe using separated GRANDS biscuits instead of crescents! It is a little less work!

Can we say TOO GOOD?! I found this recipe in time for Christmas last year and put them out so that we could eat and open our gifts. I did not get one! I tried again next morn...no luck. I was not able to get one! So...in trying to outsmart them all, the next time I made them, I did not tell anyone. I prepared coffee, these yummies, fruit; and then I needed to walk the dogs. ARGH! When I came back, they were gone! So...as I started, can we say these are TOO GOOD? So good that I can't one. Wish me luck...I'm doing it again this year and will triple the recipe!
