Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green olives
  • 1 can (8 ounces) pizza sauce
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1/2 cup shredded pizza cheese blend (2 ounces)

Steps

    In medium saucepan, combine hot dogs, pizza sauce and olives; mix well. Cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

    Spoon mixture into hot dog buns. Top with cheese. If desired, place filled buns on cookie sheet. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

    To make the cheese on these pizza boats even more ooey and gooey, put the boats on a cookie sheet and put the cookie sheet under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes. Remember to use pot holders when removing!
