Tangy salad ready in 15 minutes! Combination of apples, pears, dates, bananas gives you delicious fruit dish flavored with mayonnaise and lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed unpeeled red apples (2 medium)
  • 2 cups cubed unpeeled pears (2 medium)
  • 3/4 cup chopped dates
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice

Instructions

  • Step

    In large bowl, combine apples, pears, dates and lemon juice; mix well. Add bananas; stir gently to mix.
  • Step

    In small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; blend well. Add to salad; stir gently to coat. If desired, serve in lettuce-lined bowl.
