Ingredients

  • 24 medium strawberries
  • 24 miniature pretzels
  • 1/2 cup white vanilla chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil

Steps

  • 1
Rinse strawberries; pat dry with paper towels.
  • 2
Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. Arrange pretzels on paper-lined cookie sheet.
  • 3
In small saucepan, heat chips and oil over low heat until chips are melted, stirring frequently.
  • 4
Grasping each strawberry by stem, dip bottom half in melted chips; place strawberry on pretzel. Refrigerate until serving time.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
White vanilla chips scorch easily when overheated. To melt them, keep heat low and stir frequently. As soon as the chips appear almost completely melted, remove them from the heat and stir unit smooth.
  • tip 2
Made with firm strawberries, these treats can be prepared up to 6 hours in advance. Cover them loosely and refrigerate until serving time to keep berries juices from softening the pretzels.
  • tip 3
Arrange strawberries around a bowl of nuts or mints on a tray.
