Summer's juiciest dark sweet cherries are the star in homemade Cherry Chutney, which makes these sandwiches anything but ordinary. Make the chutney early in the day or even a day ahead.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 6 kaiser rolls, split
  • 6 leaves leaf lettuce
  • 6 (1-oz.) slices Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 lb. sliced smoked turkey
  • 3/4 cup Cherry Chutney

    Spread mayonnaise evenly onto bottom halves of rolls.
