These salted, caramel-filled, double-chocolate cookies are incredibly indulgent, but only take 15 minutes of prep! If you’re a fan of sweet, chewy, chocolaty, salted caramel-stuffed goodness, these cookies are for you. Make them for a special occasion or any ordinary weekday that could use a little burst of joy.

    Heat oven to 350°F. Bake cookies as directed on package. Immediately after baking, use back of round metal measuring tablespoon to make 1 1/2-inch-wide indentation in center of each cookie. Cool 3 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

    In small microwavable bowl, microwave caramels and heavy cream uncovered on High 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring after 1 minute, until caramels are melted and smooth.

    Spoon slightly less than 1 tablespoonful caramel into center of each cookie; sprinkle with salt. Let stand about 30 minutes or until caramel is set. Store covered in refrigerator, up to 1 week.
