Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (1-lb.) loaf French bread

    GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. In small bowl, combine butter and cheese; blend well. Cut bread into 1-inch slices; spread 1 side of each slice with cheese mixture. Arrange slices into loaf shape; wrap securely in heavy-duty foil using double-fold seals.

    When ready to grill, place loaf on gas grill over medium-low heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium-low coals; cover grill. Heat 8 to 12 minutes or until butter is melted and bread is hot, turning occasionally.
