Apple, crackers and pecans are packed in these yummy date balls. A perfect Halloween dessert ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apples
  • 5 graham cracker rectangles, broken
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 1/2 cup glazed pecans, finely chopped

    In food processor, place dates, raisins and apples. Cover; process, using quick on-and-off motions, until mixture forms a chunky paste. Add graham cracker pieces, 1 tablespoon of the honey and the apple pie spice. Cover; process, using quick on-and-off motions, until well blended.

    Line 15x10-inch pan with waxed paper. Place remaining 2 tablespoons honey in small bowl. Place pecans in shallow bowl. Shape date mixture into 1-inch balls. Quickly dip balls in honey, allowing excess to drip off; roll in pecans to coat. Place in pan. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
