Yummy holiday-treat for the kids! Make these crispy candy trees using their favorite treats - marshmallows, rice cereal, gumdrops and candies. What’s more, it takes just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 bag (10 oz) large marshmallows
  • 1/4 teaspoon green food color
  • 5 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 16 small gumdrops, flattened
  • 1/2 cup small gummi candies

Steps

    In large saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in food color. Add cereal and small gummi candies; stir until well coated.

    With buttered hands, shape 1/4 cup mixture at a time into 3-dimensional cones resembling trees. Cut out small star shapes from gumdrops with 1/2-inch canapé cutter. Press star onto top of each tree.
