Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half or evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon rum extract, if desired

Steps

    In small saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Bring just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
