Ingredients

  • 2 cans (11 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original French Bread
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/4 cup from 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles
  • Dash hot pepper sauce

    Bake French bread as directed on cans.

    Meanwhile, heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, stir together all remaining ingredients.

    Cut breads in half lengthwise. Place bread halves cut side down on grill over medium-low to medium heat. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

    Spread cheese mixture on toasted sides of bread halves. Return to grill; cook 10 to 15 minutes longer or until cheese bubbles and begins to brown.

    To broil bread, place bread cut side up on broiler pan; broil 6 to 8 inches from heat for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted. Spread cheese mixture on toasted sides of bread halves; broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese bubbles and begins to brown.
