Ingredients

  • 2 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 tablespoon shelled sunflower seeds
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Dash salt
  • 4 (12-inch) stalks celery

Steps

  • 1
In small bowl, combine all ingredients except celery; blend well.
  • 2
Spoon mixture evenly into celery stalks. Cut each stalk into 4 pieces. Store in refrigerator.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Chopped, dried apricot or other dried fruit works just as well as raisins in this quick snack.
  • tip 2
Instead of mixing the raisins with the cream cheese, line them up along the top of each cheese-stuffed celery stalk for a reinterpretation of the classic "ants on a log" snack.
  • tip 3
It's easiest to grate the peel of a firm, fresh orange. Use a fine-holed grater, sharp paring knife or a citrus zester, remove the colored part of the rind only, not the bitter white pith underneath.
