Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each into quarters; roll each into ball. Set aside.
  • 2
Place bread crumbs in shallow dish. In another shallow dish, beat egg, milk, flour, cinnamon and vanilla with whisk until well blended.
  • 3
In 10-inch skillet, heat canola oil to 350°F. Place 4 or 5 balls into egg mixture at a time; coat evenly. Coat each with bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove from oil to paper towels; cool completely.
  • 4
In small bowl, mix powdered sugar and liqueur until glaze is thick and creamy. If desired, insert some fun plastic forks into the nuggets for a real casual feel; serve with glaze for dipping.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
To keep your glaze alcohol-free, try using milk or cream instead of the liqueur.
  • tip 2
For a more formal dessert, serve them warm, in a bowl, and drizzle the glaze over the top. A scoop of ice cream would be good, too.
