Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups sliced celery
- 1 can (16 oz) bean sprouts, drained
- 1 can ( 8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 can (4 oz) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
- 1 3/4 cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz. carton)
- 1 jar (2 oz) diced pimientos, drained
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- 4 cups chow mein noodles or hot cooked rice

Step1Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.

Step2Add celery, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, mushrooms, broth, piementos, soy sauce and ginger; mix well. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step3Meanwhile, in small bowl, blend cornstarch and water until smooth.

Step4Stir cornstarch mixture into beef mixture. Cook until mixture is bubbly and slightly thickened. Serve over chow mein noodles. If desired, serve with additional soy sauce.
