Ingredients

Steps

  •
    1
Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large cookie sheets with cooking parchment paper.
  •
    2
In medium bowl, crumble cookie dough; stir or knead in flour until well mixed. (DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH AFTER COMBINING WITH FLOUR.)
  •
    3
Working with one half of cookie dough at a time, keeping other half chilled, press dough into 7-inch circle in middle of cookie sheet.
  •
    4
Press 6 pretzel sticks evenly around edges of pizza, overhanging edge by 1 inch, to form the tree trunks.
  •
    5
Bake 17 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned around edges and center is set. Cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes. Slide cookie pizza with parchment paper onto rack to cool. Repeat with remaining half of cookie dough to form second pizza crust. Cool pizza crusts completely, about 30 minutes.
  •
    6
Decorate cooled cookie pizzas with icing, candies and candy sprinkles. Cut each pizza into 6 wedges, making sure a pretzel stick is at center of each wedge.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Assorted M&M's® candies, gumdrops, mini marshmallows and holiday-themed candy sprinkles all would be great to use as decorations on your Christmas trees. Let your imagination run wild!
  • tip 2
Cookie icing can set quickly, so make sure to start decorating your trees with the candies immediately after applying the icing.
  • tip 3
For best results, bake each pizza on the middle oven rack. For even baking, it’s best to bake one sheet at a time.
  • tip 4
You can prepare the cookie pizza crust up to a day ahead of time. After it's cooled, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and store at room temperature until you're ready to decorate.
