Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and steak seasoning over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Cool 5 minutes. Stir in bacon.
  • 2
Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press each biscuit into 5-inch round. Place 2 quartered pieces of American cheese into center of each round. Place about 1/4 cup beef mixture into center of each round. Gently fold edges up and over filling; pinch to seal.
  • 3
Cut 8-inch round of cooking parchment paper. Place in bottom of air fryer basket. Spray with cooking spray. Place 4 biscuit bombs, seam sides down, onto parchment round in basket of air fryer, spacing apart.
  • 4
Set air fryer to 320°F; cook 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuit tops are golden brown. With tongs, turn over each one; cook 4 to 5 minutes longer or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from air fryer; cover loosely with foil to keep warm while cooking second batch. Repeat for remaining biscuit bombs. Cook as directed above. Serve with ketchup, mustard and pickles.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Air fryer temperature control settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in this air fryer biscuit bombs recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.
  • tip 2
Our recipes do not call for preheating your air fryer. Just set the temperature, and start. Never preheat with parchment paper alone.
  • tip 3
We tested this recipe in a 3.7-quart air fryer. If using a larger air fryer, such as a 6-quart size, you may be able to fit more of the air fryer biscuit bombs into one batch for cooking. Be sure to cook them in a single layer, spacing them apart and leaving enough room to turn them over.
  • tip 4
Try Swiss cheese slices instead of American cheese for a variation on these air fryer biscuit bombs.
