Enjoy this orange flavored nutty dessert made with Pillsbury® Ready to Bake!™ cookies and cranberries - a perfect treat.

Ingredients

package (16 oz) Pillsbury™ Ready to Bake!™ refrigerated sugar cookies
1/2
cup chopped walnuts, toasted
1/4
cup sweetened dried cranberries, chopped
1 1/2
teaspoons grated orange peel
1
cup powdered sugar
4
teaspoons orange juice

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 350ºF. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix cookie dough, walnuts, cranberries and orange peel with wooden spoon, or knead with hands until well blended. Onto cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
  • 3 Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until edges are set. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • 4 In small bowl, stir powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cookies.

Expert Tips

To toast walnuts, spread in ungreased shallow pan. Bake at 350°F 6 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until light brown.
