    Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.

    In medium bowl, mix butter and thyme until blended. Separate dough into 8 biscuits; cut each into 8 pieces. Add pieces to butter mixture; toss to coat. In each muffin cup, place 4 biscuit pieces and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cheese. Top with 4 more biscuit pieces.

    Bake 14 to 18 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Sprinkle remaining cheese over rolls. Bake 3 to 4 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Cool 1 minute. Remove from muffin cups. Serve warm.

    Any of your favorite fresh herbs or a blend of fresh herbs can be substituted for the thyme in this recipe. Try basil or rosemary.

    Serve these rolls for any special occasion or holiday meal with garlic butter. Simply stir 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder into 1/2 cup softened butter.
