These are the best cookies to make and eat for Christmas or anytime of the year. Please try these cookies yourself. You will be surprised how good they really are and so simple to make at home.

My mom and I have made these since I was a little kid. She got the recipe off a box of something (Pillsbury flour?) These are my all-time favorite cookies but I highly recommend using chocolate stars instead of Hershey's Kisses. The stars melt all the way through whereas the Kisses are a little too thick for these cookies. I recently found Dark Chocolate Stars from Brach's,as opposed to the usual milk chocolate, and I plan on trying them this weekend. Either way this is a recipe everyone must have.

I've been making these at Christmas for more than 30 years. When my girls their job was to help me unwrap the kisses. Use good quality peanut butter and only Hershey's kisses!

This recipe is so fun, easy, and fool-proof. I didn't have enough crisco so I had to use margarine instead and the cookies still turned out quite tasty. If you don't have any Hershey's kisses on hand you can just use this recipe for peanut butter cookies. Delicious!!!!

There's just the right amount of peanut butter in each cookie, not to mention the wonderful chocolate kisses. I've decided to start the tradition of making these every Christmas!
