Expert Tips

One of the flavored mayonnaises can be used in place of the guacamole in these burgers. To maintain the California theme, try chipotle Mayonnaise or Southwestern Mayonnaise.

Try sourdough buns instead of regular burger buns.

For deluxe California burgers, add slices of Monterey Jack cheese, lettuce and toasted sunflower seeds to the toppings.
