box Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
1/4
cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4
lb very thinly sliced cooked ham
1/4
lb thinly sliced pepperoni
1
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 450°F. Remove pie crusts from pouches; place crusts flat on work surface. Sprinkle each crust evenly with Parmesan cheese.
  • 2 Top each crust with ham, pepperoni and Cheddar cheese to within 1 inch of edge. Loosely roll up each crust; place rolls, seam side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. Fold ends under.
  • 3 Bake 12 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Cut each roll into 16 slices. Serve warm.

I found the pie crust a little underdone in the center. Did anybody else experience that? I baked it the full 17 min plus a little. Looks gorgeous but tastes a little "doughy". Mine looks like the pic but a little more golden. Slightly disappointed...

I make this when I have any kind of get together. Everyone loves it and you can add so many different ingredients! The only thing I have learned is that it's not very good reheated. So, get it while it's hot!

I thought these were just okay. I found them to be greasy and I didn't particularly like the pie crust. (Might be my own taste). I will try them again with crescent rolls.

I have been making these flaky deli slices for years and they are always one of the first items to go! My only recommendation is to make slight cuts in the dough prior to baking. This helps them to slice easier without flaking too much.
