slices good quality white bread

tablespoons olive oil

teaspoon dried basil
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
1/4
teaspoon salt

bag (7.2 oz) Caesar salad kit
1/4
cup pine nuts, toasted
1/4
cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • 2 Remove crusts from bread. Roll bread slightly with rolling pin. In small bowl, mix together olive oil, basil, garlic powder and salt. Brush onto bread. Gently press 1 slice bread into each muffin cup, oil side up. The edges should hang over.
  • 3 Bake about 10 minutes or until crisp and golden brown. Remove from pan. Cool completely.
  • 4 Make Caesar salad as directed on bag. Spoon into bread cups; sprinkle with pine nuts and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
