EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

If you’d like a milder flavor, substitute 1/4 cup ketchup for 1/4 cup of the Buffalo wing sauce in the sloppy Joe mixture.

Toasting hamburger buns lightly before topping them with hot meat or sauces helps to keep the buns from getting soggy.

Buffalo wings are typically served with crisp celery sticks. If you want to add the crunchy flavor of fresh celery to this recipe, add 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery to the sauce.
