Bourbon-Fig Glazed Ham

Fig preserves add a wonderful flavor to this baked ham – perfect for a dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cooked bone-in ham (6 to 8 lb)
  • 1 jar (11.5 oz) fig preserves (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F. Line roasting pan with foil. Trim any excess fat on ham to 1/4 inch thick. Place ham, fat side up, in pan. In small bowl, mix fig preserves, bourbon, honey and mustard. Brush half of fig mixture over ham.

    Bake uncovered 1 hour 30 minutes, basting with remaining fig mixture every 30 minutes. Cover loosely with foil; bake 30 minutes longer or until thoroughly heated. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
