Folks, these are "in a pinch" doughnuts. Shortcuts are never exactly like "original" foods. They are quick to make, FUN for kids to help make, and you really don't even need the doughnut cutter. Just poke a hole in the middle with your (clean) finger and stretch the hole to the size of a quarter, then cook. This is the part kids can do. Have fun and eat them warm, and your kids will remember the fun nights when you made them fresh doughnuts.

Did the fried ones with glaze. My daughter, Jillia, and I had a blast and they tasted wonderful. We will definitely be doing it again.

When hot, very good. Ok, it's not a real doughnut but in a pinch, it is good.

I read the reviews and I was iffy if I should even do this..well i did. It turned out decent. It did taste like a biscuit with sugar but after i put Kraft Chocolate Indulgence cream cheese it tasted much better and I didn't have the biscuit taste to it. They stayed soft so thankfully the doughnuts didn't get hard like I've read with some reviews. It was not the best but it worked for me.
