Expert Tips

Use sweetened dried cranberries instead of raisins for more color.

This is a fun mixture to serve as a sleepover snack or while watching a favorite video with the family. Make eating it extra fun by serving the mix in ice cream cones.

I tried this recipe but added a different twist. We hate raisins so I added pretzels instead. I also added the Chocolate Chex, Peanut butter M&M's and the frosted animal cookies. I was able to make 2 freezer sized bags. Have thought about adding coconut and banana chips and maybe some almonds or pecans. Plan on taking this to a camping weekend in July. Thanks for the great idea!!!

Personally, I think that this is a ''cute'' recipe. Not-to-mention, it''s very easy for the people that are ALWAYS on the go. Of course; I''m always looking for NEW ideas because, I''m becoming a first-time mom @ the end of August!! I''ll take all the easy recipies that I can get! Plus, I know that Her and I will be spending LOTS of time baking!! :-)

I have a small in home child daycare. This is a big hit with my kids. They all enjoy it. And it could not be easier to prepare. We take trips to the park and this very easy to take along with juice.
