Sweet and peanut-buttery candy coating over nuts, berries, cereal and pretzels makes this trail mix irresistible.

Ingredients

cups small pretzel twists (from 15-oz bag)
1
cup Cheerios™ cereal
2/3
cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/2
cup cashew halves
10
oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), cut into small pieces
1/3
cup creamy peanut butter

Steps

  • 1 Cut 24x12-inch sheet of waxed paper. In large bowl, mix pretzels, cereal, cranberries and cashews.
  • 2 In small microwavable bowl, microwave candy coating and peanut butter on High 1 minute. Stir well; microwave 15 to 30 seconds longer or until melted and mixture can be stirred smooth.
  • 3 Gradually pour melted candy coating mixture over pretzel mixture, stirring to coat all pieces. Quickly spread mixture onto waxed paper into 12x8-inch rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick. Let stand 30 minutes or until set. Break into 2x2-inch pieces.

Expert Tips

Store the bark in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to one week. The refrigerator prevents the pretzels and cereal from getting soggy.
