Roasted sweet potatoes are a classic side we're turning up a notch with sriracha, bacon and maple syrup.

Ingredients

sweet potatoes, peeled and diced

tablespoon real maple syrup

teaspoon Sriracha sauce

tablespoon olive oil

slices thick-cut bacon, chopped

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper or foil.
  • 2 In medium bowl, toss sweet potatoes, syrup, sauce and oil. Spread on cookie sheet in single layer.
  • 3 Bake about 20 minutes, turning once, until sweet potatoes begin to brown. Sprinkle bacon on top.
  • 4 Bake 8 to 10 minutes longer or until bacon is crispy and sweet potatoes are tender.

Expert Tips

Substitute honey or brown sugar for maple syrup.
