Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  • 2
Unroll dough on work surface; press to form 12x10-inch rectangle. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon and 3 tablespoons of the cinnamon chips evenly over dough.
  • 3
Starting with 1 long side, roll up dough tightly to form log. Place seam side down on lined cookie sheet. With kitchen scissors, cut diagonal slices in log almost to bottom but not all the way through. Gently pull cut slices sideways to lean to alternating sides.
  • 4
Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, in small microwavable bowl, microwave remaining 2 tablespoons cinnamon chips on High until melted.
  • 5
Drizzle melted chips over warm bread. Pull slices apart; serve warm.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Other flavored chocolate chips can be used instead of the cinnamon ones.
  • tip 2
Following the directions, a savory version of this pull-apart bread can be put together in no time for a last-minute appetizer idea. Instead of the brown sugar and cinnamon chips, use pesto and precooked chicken.
