Pillsbury® Grands!® frozen buttermilk biscuits (from 25-oz bag)

  • 1 In medium saucepan, heat soup just to boiling over medium-high heat.
  • 2 Meanwhile, place frozen biscuits on microwaveable plate. Microwave on High 15 to 30 seconds or just until biscuits begin to thaw. Cut each biscuit into 6 pieces.
  • 3 Place biscuit pieces on top of simmering soup. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 6 to 7 minutes or until dumplings are fluffy and no longer doughy in center.

This is pretty good. I added italian seasoning 1/2 teas and black pepper to season it up a little

Oh, this is wonderful and easy. I love ways to use my leftovers and I think I hit the jackpot here. I cannot see how anyone would not like this recipe. It really saves time and money so we can use food that we might ordinarily throw away. I always love the recipes from Pillsbury!

Not all dumplings are made of pasta with is European. American chicken and dumplings traditionally are made with good ole' all purpose flour. You're talking about something like Gnocchi or similar, which of course is not used in chicken and dumplings.

why is this called Chicken & Dumplings??? Last time I checked a bisquit does not constitute a DUMPLING!! Dumplings are made of pasta.
