cup frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Generously spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned; drain. Stir in soup, vegetables and milk.
  • 2 In baking dish, stir baking mix and water until moistened; spread evenly. Spread beef mixture over batter. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 3 Bake 30 minutes.

Tana28, Baking mix is like Bisquick or Jiffy Baking Mix. Hope this helps.

2 cups baking mix what is that?? anyone help me out?

We liked it! I did make some changes, such as adding a splash more milk, adobo seasoning and pepper to the mixture, and some arlic to the meat. Other than that, we enjoyed this meal and will be making it again.

This was quick, that's about all that it has going for it. It has NO flavor, none. I always try to make a recipe as it is written before I adjust it, but I wish I had followed my instincts with this one and added more flavor. I think the base recipe is good for a quick meal, but I would in no way make it again without adding some seasoning. I think I might cook some peppers in with the onions, DEFINITELY add some salt and pepper, and probably some garlic and basil. Will probably also use more cheese and a little more milk next time.
