Skipped the peanuts and added some leftover white chocolate chips I had from another recipe. Only problem I had is getting this mixture into a 9" square pan. Had to upgrade to a 9x13.

These sound yummy. But I have been looking for a recipe for Trix snack bars that we did when I was in girl scouts in 19__ :D it was made with jello. Has anyone else heard of them?

I used fruit loops and trix and left out the peanuts. My very picky kids loved them go figure.

My kids love taking these bars to school for the class treats. We normally leave out the peanuts. They are easier to stir/mix-up than rice krispie treats.

Used choco chips as another suggested. Even that could not help the flavor. My grandchildren who helped me make them would not eat them. They are going in the trash. Regular rice crispy treats are much better. They call for 5 1/2 cups of minature marshmallows, I think this would have helped this recipe. The fruits crispies gave the dish an weird taste.
