Star Pie Pops

Blogger Cheri Liefeld of Adventures in the Kitchen shares a favorite recipe. I love making these pie pops with my niece. Wrap in plastic wrap and tie with a cute ribbon to make a fun hostess gift for summer barbecues.

  • 2 In 1-quart saucepan, stir all filling ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  • 3 Remove pie crust from pouch; unroll on lightly floured work surface. With X-inch star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out 10 stars. Place 5 stars on cookie sheet. Expert Tips

When sealing the pastry stars, first press close to the filling to create a seal and then press gently around the edges. This will help prevent leaks.

You can use canned blueberry pie filling instead of making your own.
