Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box
1
egg, beaten
1/4
cup multicolored nonpareils

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper or foil.
  • 2 Unroll pie crust on lightly floured work surface. Use 2-inch star-shaped cookie cutter to cut 24 stars. (Scraps can be rolled in ball, rolled out with rolling pin and cut to make additional stars.) Lightly brush each star with beaten egg.
  • 3 Pour nonpareils in shallow bowl; dip each star into nonpareils, egg side down. Place on cookie sheet.
  • 4 Bake 6 to 10 minutes or until golden brown around edges.

Substitute sugar or other sprinkles for the nonpareils.

Serve with a side of whipped cream or chocolate fudge sauce for dipping.
