Made this for supper a couple nights ago. Did not have any hash browns, so just made mashed potatoes instead. It did taste very much like a green bean casserole, and the potatoes made it a meal. Loved the French-fried onions on top. Will make again.

I did not read the reviews before trying this :(. It was very bland tasting and dry.

we really liked this, but I recreated the recipe after reading it was mushy, so I fried the hash browns instead of the slow cooker and and I used a can of cream of mushroom roasted garlic soup, it gave it a lot of zip and a jar of button mushroom sliced with a few extra spices to the meat so basically I just made the meat mixture seperate and put on top of the potatoes.

thought it was a little mushy! not at all like the picture, it ends up all mixed together

We thought this was pretty good! It is basically just green bean casserole with beef and potatoes. It makes enough for a couple of meals, so it's perfect for a busy family. Simple and good.
