Expert Tips

Pizza cheese is a blend of mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses. If unavailable, use equal parts of mozzarella and Cheddar.

Be sure to thoroughly drain the cooked pasta--a few hard shakes of the colander after the water drains will help. Excess cooking water clinging to the pasta will dilute the sauce.

This dish was very good. I made it for a church potluck dinner and it was a hit. Several asked for the recipe. It could use about another half jar of pizza sauce, though.
