Made these Oatmeal Carmelitas today and this is a keeper for sure. Of course I had to cut and sneak a bar after 1 hour cooling but before I put them in the fridge to set for an hour or two as per the directions. We love things with nuts and oats in them and this was no exception. Thank you for another great recipe! I may experiment in the near future to replace the choc. chips with some type of apple concoction - who knows, I might come up with another keeper!

Lost this recipe but found it online :). Is a favorite!!!! Don't hesitate to take this anywhere. Kids, including husbands, will eat them till they're gone. EASY to make.

I HAVE MADE THIS RECIPE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. IT IS ALWAYS THE HIT OF THE OCCASION. I FIND CUTTING THEM IN SMALLER SECTIONS WORKS WELL BECAUSE THEY ARE RICH. ALSO WARM FOR 10 SECONDS IN MICROWAVE AND SERVE WITH FRENCH VANILLA ICE CREAM.

I used to make these only at Christmas time. One day had a light bulb moment that I could make them any time! Always delicious. I've also use chocolate sauce with mini m and m's.
