LOCATION

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat 7 to 9 minutes, stirring frequently, until no longer pink; drain if necessary. Stir in beans; heat until hot. Pour hot mixture into ungreased 11x7-inch or 8x8-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • 2 Unroll dough onto flat surface; firmly press perforations to seal. Using small Halloween-shaped cutter, cut 2 or 3 shapes out of dough. Place dough sheet evenly over top (for 8x8-inch dish, fold under short sides to fit). Sprinkle cornmeal all over dough, except on cutout area.
  • 3 Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Regular Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls can be used instead of reduced fat.

Instead of cornmeal, sprinkle 1/3 cup French-fried onions, crushed, over dough after baking 15 minutes. Bake 3 to 5 minutes longer or until golden brown.

Made exactly as recipe called for and nobody in my family or at the party liked it, extremely bland and flavorless. Will not make again, can't even fathom what I could add to it to make it better.

I love this! can this be made for other holidays? like thanksgiving day (with turkey cutouts) Christmas (stars, santas, Etc.) new years, valentines day (heart cutouts) and patriotic holidays? (stars, or stars and stripes)

Worked perfect for me. Quick and easy. I made it for dinner in an 11x7 dish so I doubled the recipe. I also added a taco seasoning pack for a little extra flavor. The "bat" cut-outs created a festive look. Will make it again :-) +-

I made this recipe with an addition of a jar of my homemade chili sauce combined w/cheddar and mozzarella cheese. It is delicous! Thanks for a new dinner dish!

I made this for a Halloween party and it went over extremely well! I doubled the amount of turkey and beans because if you use an 11x7 dish, you will need that much to fill the dish. I will definitely make it again!
