Ingredients

Crust

Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box

Filling

eggs
1
cup sugar
1
cup light corn syrup
2
tablespoons butter, melted
1
teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2
cups chopped pecans
1/2
cup semisweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F.
  • 2 Make pie crust as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie, using 9-inch glass pie plate. In large bowl, stir first 5 filling ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans and chocolate. Pour into crust-lined pie plate.
  • 3 Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until set. Cool before cutting.

Do you have to bake the pie shell ahead of time? Or bake when you get the filling in it.pour into unbake or baked pie shell?

I used this recipe this Christmas and it was a hit!!!!!!!! I just love the blend of chocolate and pecans!!! I would use it again and again!

I absolutely love this pie!! It was delicious!!! I will DEFINITELY make it again!!!! My kids also loved it and said they would rate it and said they would give it 41/2 stars!!!

I make pecan pies all the time with delicious Pillsbury pie crusts but this pie was DISGUSTINGLY SWEET!!!! THE WORSE I HAVE EVER EATEN. WILL NEVER MAKE AGAIN. YUK!!!!!!!!!!!

This pie was GREAT! And it was SO EASY to make - just mix a few things together, put in crush and bake! I used a Deep Dish pie crust and it still ran over the sides! Delicious!
