Pillsbury® has a great new flavor of cookie dough to introduce this season…Peppermint Sugar Cookie Dough! There are so many ways to add a sweet and minty treat to your holiday dessert table with this cookie dough. I kicked it up a notch by adding some fudge and spiked whipped cream and by layering in little glasses. They're perfect for your next party!
First, bake the cookies as instructed on the package. I used a scoop to make it even easier. Go ahead, sneak one for yourself. I won’t tell!
In a chilled bowl (which is a tip that really works when making your own whipped cream), whip together one cup heavy whipping cream and 2 tablespoons of peppermint schnapps. You can always add more if you like it stronger.
Either individually or in a large plastic bag, crush the cookies and scoop some into the bottom of a glass.
Add a dollop of whipped cream and then a dollop of hot fudge sauce.
Top with another scoop of cookie crumbs and another dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle the top with more hot fudge and serve immediately. You can also serve with a little candy cane on the side. This recipe is easy and can be changed up to fit the tastes of you and your guests. Enjoy and happy holidays
