The holidays bring out all of our treasured and beloved recipes, but this year I am adding a new one to the mix: Baked Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Dip. It is easy to make but is so fresh and flavorful. It is those little homemade touches that your guests will notice.

Baked Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Dip is warm, savory and just a little spicy thanks to Old El Paso® Green Chiles. The goat cheese is topped with a roasted pepper and chile sauce. When topped with cilantro and pine nuts, it makes a colorful addition to your holiday table. Even better, you can make this in your slow cooker.

To make the Baked Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Dip, you need a jar of roasted red peppers, a can of Old El Paso® Green Chiles, garlic, pine nuts, cilantro, goat cheese and cream cheese.

Combine the cream cheese and goat cheese. Place in an ovenproof dish.

Blend together the peppers, chiles, garlic, salt and pepper; pour over the cream cheese mixture. Now it is ready to bake.

Just before serving, sprinkle cilantro and pine nuts across the top. Serve with Food Should Taste Good® Tortilla Chips. They are delicious and come in lime or jalapeno flavors. I used their multigrain chips. You can also serve the dip with baguette slices.
