5 tips for foolproof pie crust

Allow refrigerated pie crust to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before handling.

Cracks in your crust? Don’t worry. Just wet your fingers with cold water and press the seams together.

Before you start baking, firmly press the crust into the sides and bottom of the pan.

Prick the bottom and sides of the unfilled crust before baking so you don’t get bubbles

Cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil after the first 15 minutes of baking or as directed in recipe.
