Toasted Almond Sticks with Chocolate Orange Sauce

teaspoons Crisco® Pure Canola Oil

can Pillsbury™ refrigerated orange flavor sweet rolls with icing

cup sliced almonds, coarsely chopped

tablespoon powdered sugar
1/2
cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

tablespoons brewed espresso coffee or very strong coffee

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Brush 15x10-inch pan with sides with 2 teaspoons of the oil.
  2. 2 Remove dough from can; reserve icing. Unroll dough; do not separate. Cut dough in half crosswise; separate into 16 sticks. Place sticks 1 inch apart in pan; brush with remaining 2 teaspoons oil. Sprinkle each strip with almonds; press in lightly. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to cooling rack; cool 2 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, in small microwavable bowl, microwave icing, chocolate chips and coffee on High 30 to 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.
  4. 4 Serve sticks with warm chocolate sauce.
