(16-oz.) pkg. (2 1/3 cups) dried black-eyed peas, sorted, rinsed

Steps

  • 1 In 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except salsa; mix well.
  • 2 Cover; cook on high setting for 3 to 4 hours.
  • 3 About 10 minutes before serving, stir salsa into bean mixture. Cover; cook on high setting an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Expert Tips
