Sausage and Garlic Bread Kabobs

Ingredients

lb. cooked mild Italian sausage links, cut into 1-inch pieces

(1-inch) cubes French bread

(1/2-inch-thick) slices yellow summer squash or zucchini

tablespoons purchased garlic spread, melted
1
tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, if desired

Directions

  1. 1 GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. Alternately thread sausage, bread and squash evenly onto four 12 to 14-inch metal skewers. In small bowl, combine melted garlic spread and parsley. Brush mixture over kabobs.
  2. 2 When ready to grill, place kabobs on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook about 6 minutes or until vegetables are tender and bread is golden brown, turning once.
