Peas and Mushrooms

Instead of being boiled, frozen peas are defrosted, then sautéed with mushrooms, onion, celery and pimientos.

Ingredients

tablespoons margarine or butter

cup chopped celery

tablespoons finely chopped onion

(2.5-oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

cups frozen sweet peas, thawed*

(2-oz.) jar diced pimientos, drained
  • 1 Melt margarine in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in celery and onion; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • 2 Stir in all remaining ingredients; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
