Herb-Marinated Grilled Halibut

Ingredients

tablespoons finely chopped fresh herbs (such as basil, tarragon and/or dill)

tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2
teaspoon olive oil

garlic cloves, minced
4
(4-oz.) halibut steaks
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon coarse ground black pepper

Directions

  1. 1 In small bowl, combine herbs, lemon juice, oil and garlic; mix well. Place halibut on large plate. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper; spoon herb mixture over fish. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, heat grill.When ready to grill, place fish on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork, turning once. If desired, sprinkle fish with additional chopped fresh herbs before serving.
