Hi, I don't think you used is rice stick noodles as it is made from mung bean not rice. It is also called 粉丝= Dongfen = mung bean vermicelli For those who can't find plum sauce, you can use tomato sauce, I understand that it is very troublesome to go to Asian market to buy a bottle just for this recipe !! The westerner has Tomato sauce, Chinese has Plum sauce, hope this will make you understand what is Plum sauce.Plum sauce can used in any cooking or as a dip sauce, it is sweet and sour. Deep fry some diced meat or seafood and cook this Plum sauce then pour in the boiled or fried meat, seafoo

You can find plum sauce in the Asian section or your market. With the soy sauce. And for me this sounds great - good for a quick lunch at work.
