Ingredients

1
can Pillsbury™ refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
1
package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
2
oz crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
1/2
cup finely chopped fresh pear
Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Unroll dough onto work surface. Cut dough into 15 squares. Gently press 1 square in bottom and up side of each of 12 ungreased mini muffin cups, shaping edges to form rims 1/4-inch high.
  • 2 Bake 8 - 9 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool cups in pan 4 minutes.
  • 3 Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix cream cheese and gorgonzola with fork until well combined. Stir in chopped pear.
  • 4 When cups are completely cool, fill each with 1 rounded tablespoon cheese-pear mixture. Garnish each cup with fresh thyme. Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

You can substitute any of your favorite blue cheese for the gorgonzola.

Don’t like very strong flavors? Use Gorgonzola dolce—a much “sweeter” and milder version of Gorgonzola cheese.

Don’t have fresh thyme? Use a small sliver of pear for the garnish.
