The recipe for "Goat Cheese and Sun-Dried Tomato Bread Bites" offers you one specific method for preparing the Bread Bites. I am less fond of Goat Cheese. For me the ideal cheese to us would be Monterey Jack Cheese. It is a lovely cheese with a delicious taste after it has been in the oven. Try this switch and see how it affects the results of this recipe? I believe you will be surprised at the top of the flavor kingdom you will find making this change. Enjoy!!! :-)

Rosalie too funny asking son-in-law "did you read the directions" ha ha. Classic mom-in-law holiday shtick! Anyway very good with the regular chevre. Also great with honey instead of tomatoes(no salt on top). Just place the honey in the well you make with your finger to prevent dripping fold sides in instead of rolling and flip carefully horizontally over the fold. The cheese will catch and hold the honey as long as you don't put too much. Trying next time with thicker spoonable gourmet honey.

I also made these on Christmas Eve...They were alright but I think they need a little more sight appeal. My son-in-law (a cooking newbie) was in charge of their creation. I did ask him once if he read the directions?!!! I will try them again and see if I have a different result.
